Well what more can i say apart from that i am sorry for not being able to be online till later on than i was eexpected. Tis not often that this happens.... granted last night i was dreadfully ill and i passed out far far earlier than expected.

Right now after having a shot of whissky i am feeling far far better (shame i had to travel so far for the whiskey though :s) Sarah this is just to let you know that i am still here for you, and that i care for you far far far too much than i should. Well what do you know.... I finally have a day off

Now all i have to do know is find something to do with my time.... shame i have to wait till thursday to have a day off thuogh.

But nonetheless, I know what i would like to do.... and that is spend it with someone very special to me.

Scary thing is that we only met just over a week ago, (1st of September to be exact IIRC). But I would like to think that we clicked from the word go. But no matter what i still think about her all the time. When working, when sleeping. Every time. She means a lot to me and the only time i felt like this before was before i went to university and my girlfriend at the time. But a couple of years later she passed on.

They say love hurts. Its true it does.

People say my emotions are untrue and false. That i would disagree with seeing as when i say something, i mean it. I can never understand as to why people lie about their emotions. I might hide mine up, but when asked i will tell the truth about how i feel.

Well what do you know.... i thought that the issues that i had could have been due to memory (running possible ECC with non ECC memory). But i double checked my pc and its all normal and swimming..... Now why on earth did City of Hero's/City of Villains freeze up on me twice very fast today? Even though i was in the game for several hours last thursday? Ah well looks like it could be possible issues with my gfx card drivers now.... 6600GT ws doing very well.... just hope that i havnt killed it and that i will have to get a new one :(

Ah well. Time to see if i can get it sorted out then...

Well just as the title says, what a few weeks it has been. Went off to visit my parents (well mum and stepdad) and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though i ended up spending most of my time travelling it felt like. Well only 5 hours to get down there but a horrendous 7 hours to get back. Suppose thts what you get for trying to speed up your train journey. The weather also seemed to have had something against me, cos it was sunny when i left there, but then started to chuck it down raining when i got onto the train. Ah well at least i got home kinda dry :(

What else has happened to me in my life?

Oh yeah i went for an interview for an online radio station (MMORadio.com) and i got the job, now i am trying to help out there as much as i can, but it can be hard when you are in the middle of doing a long stretch of work (12 days before i get a day off, and i still have 6 days before that happens)

Hmm anything else? nothing that i can think of apart from that i spoke to my grandfather last week and he was really pleased to hear from me.

Well i guess i have to go back to work now on my main website (www.gangrel.me.uk and see if i can get the browsing all up and running for my music collection)

Well what a few hours it has been,

We (being me and Paul) have finally sorted out a few coding errors in the website, and while doing so have found a nice new way to break a pc in 1 easy step..... its called get a shite firewall (we think)

Anyway, I can now generate the necessary data for a nice funky music search fairly easily now on my computer, and you guys can now search it all of my nice website (www.gangrel.me.uk)

Oh and we also got a guestbook up and running on it.

My todo list for it is very empty now for it, just one thing left to do, and it aint even that important.

Oh i also went to see my family last weekend, missed em loads and spent loads of time drinking coffee (like i always do). Have photos of them to put up as well at some point. Will talk about it on another day seeing as it is a bit too late to think straight right now.

Lets get some more coffee and go to bed :D

Hey aint it strange when you update your graphics drivers and everything goes wrong?

Whats even worse is when you played a game solidly, uninstalled it then reinstalled it and now it crashes out :s

Guess i need to reinstall everything on the pc

Well what do you do when your pc wont explore a cd or dvd, but it will play a movie just fine?

Well i don't know the answer either but apparently screwing around with the pc will sort it out.....

Well this is just a short one.

After buying up a new stack of blank DVD's (apparently capable of writing up at 16x speed) I have now discovered that they are fairly poor and only write at 8x speed. This wouldnt be a problem, but unfotunately as well, my normal DVD drive wont read them (causes hardware issues that freezes up my PC :S).

Well now i have to double check all my discs before i delete what i have backed up.

Anyway, will be back coding soon, so who knows what my website will bring me. More issues more than anything else. For some strange reason we cannot search by anything apart from all the fields at the same time, and not by artist, title or album seperately

wow, what a tiring past few days....and all for the wrong reasons

Well it all started last sunday when a friend of mine (Paul) decided it was a good idea to come over, not bad at all i have to admit, i enjoy the company.
On the flip side though, what he didnt tell me was that he has planned to teach me how to program again (yeah i know i went to uni to learn all this, but i could never get my head around it)

So he decided to teach me .php (some kind of web based language, very powerful as i have found out). And how was he going to do this? By making me write a program that would go through my music collection and make it all searchable from the web etc etc etc

What i didnt expect was the past 2 nights, going to bed at 4 (maybe even 5am) and then having to wake up for work.

But at least now i can run something that will go through my music collection and load a listing into a database, which we can now search. Talk about funky :D

Next step is to make it read the bloody id3 tags so that its more intelligent, and also doesnt mess up with compilation albums when you search by artist.... (something that doesnt get mentioned in the file name)

Well i think tonight is a night of sleep and reading. Maybe a bit of eating, but who knows what it will bring to me

Well there i was enjoying my day off yesterday doing nothing much at all, apart from buying a computer game, fixing a cd-burner and chatting crap with my friends.

Well that all went well till today, as it were

Had to work, well at least i wasnt as apprehensive about it all as i should have been. The way customers have been treating me over the past few weeks really makes me think if i should go out of my way to help them.

Yes i know i work in retail and that i should be courteous to them, but if they dont even have the common courtesy to say thankyou and please, then why the hell should i be bothered to go over to them and help them out?

Ah well enough bitching about work, its now the weekend and i have the Formula 1 to look forward to tomorrow.

That is if i can get my TV card to work in my pc, i knew i shouldn't have added in another hub to the PC. Now all i have to do is find the cd that came with it to get it to work again....
Well apparently its the F1 tomorrow, i still have to double check as to what time its on :S

Yep is definately on tomorrow (sunday), so that means i have less than 12 hours to find a poxy cd and to plan my day for tomorrow. TV running and recording means no games for me :'(

Ah well, guess i will have to finish reading my book (Red Mars) and what a book it is.
